Boards jump when using MIDI

I'm using Millumin with several Boards separating Scenes. When using spacebar the order or the ">>" button the order goes perfectly.
When triggering with a midi controller it sometimes jumps Boards.

Anyone could help?

  • Hello @BrunoNunes,

What kind of midi controller are using ?
You can track what kind of Midi signal is send to Millumin via the monitor. To open it, go to the menu bar, Window/Monitor. The monitor will list all incoming signals into Millumin. So, you can adjust your interaction to this signal in the interaction panel.

Taking advantage of the notion of jumping boards:

How can I achieve to jump to a board?

    Thanks!
  • Hello @Kevin,

What do you want to do ? Jumping to another column or changing of dashboard ?
Anyway, you can do that by creating an interaction (more info in this tutorial), or by sending an osc order (more info in this tutorial).

    Sorry for beeing unspecific.

I'm looking for a way to directly jump to a dashboard / board.

  • Hello @kevin,

You can ask Millumin2 to automatically jump to the next dashboard when asking for next column after the last column. In the Preference panel ("CMD" + ",") check the box "go on to the next board" in the media tab (look at the attached picture).

Or, if you know how to use OSC, you can use this order :

    • /millumin/action/selectBoard [index or "name"]
This will launch the board at index "index" or with the name "name". More info about all OSC message here.

Did that solve your problem ?

    Sincerely your,
    Nicolas
