I am sorry, but effects doesn't apply on mask. So, with Millumin. So you cannot apply a border effect on mask. It is because mask's idea is to hide the part of a layer.
Because modifying the perspective of an image for mapping purpose doesn't need more than 4 points, you don't have to add point to a surface. However, when you map a complex shape, having those 4 points at the corner of the image could be disturbing. So there is a tips :
