Millumin 2 on a Mac Mini (ENTRY LEVEL)

edited July 2016 in MAIN
Hi all,

I assume that MILLUMIN 2 will work perfectly fine with a basic Apple Mac Mini....
  • 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 4GB memory
  • 500GB hard drive1
  • Intel HD Graphics 5000
  • OS X El Capitan

What i am wondering is, does anyone know of any potential problems or things to look out for.

It is for an installation that will be showing just one 1920 x 1080 video at any one time, mapped to fit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Best regards

PHIL

  • Hello @scarypuppy,

Despite the newest MacMini doesn't come with a dedicated graphic card any more (such as an AMD or a Geforce one), we tested with an Intel HD 4000 model, and no problem to send out a 1080p feed.
We didn't run a test on the lastest MacMini, but it should be able to handle 2 or 3 outputs at 1080p. More info to compare graphic cards here.

    Best. Philippe
  • Thanks, Philippe,
