International video mapping and facade projection festival
Are you a travel-happy media- or video artist in Europe, and are you looking to show off your skills in the area of video mapping and facade projections?
If so, the Genius Loci Lab invites you to travel to Weimar from 12 -18 August, where you can get to know like-minded experimental visualists from other European countries. Working together, you will build a projection sculpture that, alongside the facade , will ultimately be bombarded with your custom-designed photons!
Awaiting you in Weimar is a historic facade in the centre of the Altstadt, projectors, media servers, sound rigs and a large, open-minded festival crowd. In addition to all this, we will provide travel expenses, accommodation and basic catering from 12 to 18 August for two people per team. After the application phase and the appraisal of submissions, a total of 10 teams will be invited to Weimar to take part in the Genius Loci Lab.

We also welcome applications from outside of Europe and can even reimburse return travel costs up to a maximum of €200 per team.
