Mask and Warp per Clip?

Dear Millumin Developers Team, Dear Millumin Forum Members,


I want kindly to ask you for help. It happens very often in my theater workflows that I need to edit things very fast and sometimes I need to set Masks per Clip (not per Layer), sometimes even warps and slices.

For example: If I have a show with 40-50 Videos running I am often asked to setup a fast mask for individual videoclips or to warp them slightly different.

At the moment the only solution is to create a timeline for each individual videoclip or live-cam-input and feed it into the Layer. But it is then not possible to composite multiple layers beneath. Also my workflow is: Mark the video+create a timeline+go into timeline+create a mask layer above+set the mask layer to multiply and feed in a black picture+warp the main video layer and set the mask+go to the dashboard and check if it fits the composit..

It is great that such things are possible in millumin but working with hundreds of videos and lots of videochanges is a little slow for me at the moment.

Also the timeline-workflow, which I am very thankful for is kind of slow when searching for the right timeline with the right clip.

Is there any workflow that would be better than my timeline solution // something like a mask + warp per clip effect?

    Hello @Boni,

    Sorry, I do not see any better workflow for now.

    However, we started working on masks at media-level. We hope to release this feature this year (in the current beta). Keep in mind this is not a promise.
