Preview on canvas with M2 Max
We Used Macbook Pro M2 MAX
and Signal Output size 3840*2160 (4k)
We Insert 422LT Format mov in Layered and then Click Column
it causes something wrong situation in Preview..looks like Frame Drop .. but signal output is no problem
just Problem on Preview
When we Before used M1 MAX (Mac Studio) or Intel (Macbook Touchbar) same format and played
not this situation... what this problem

Do you have the problem with latest beta version (4.17.j) ?
This may be a problem of display optimization between macOS Ventura and M2 Pro/Max/Ultra chips. We asked Apple engineers but they did not see any problem. On our side, we found a workaround for this issue (that is very specific to new machines).

Do you have the problem with latest official version (4.16.g) or latest beta version (4.17.j) ?
Both versions now uses a workaround for this issue between macOS Ventura and M2 Pro/Max/Ultra chips (display optimization from our understanding, despite Apple engineers told us there is no such optimization).
If the problem persists, please tell us what is your computer model exactly ?

This issue still exists on M2 Ultra and M2 Max with Sonoma OS. The milumin version was 4.16g.
So I downgraded the OS to Ventura and have been testing with version 4.18c.
