Internal OSC Feedback for Time Remaining
I have seen all of these different methods for broadcasting a media clip's remaining time, and most of them require the assistance of third-party software...isn't there a way I can use internal OSC feedback to achieve this somehow? For instance, if I create a two canvas show and put a media clip in each canvas, one with a 30:00:00 countdown clock .mov and the other with a standard piece of show content, is there some way to use the remaining time OSC feedback of the currently playing clip to set the media time of the countdown clock file?
This would be super useful. I could put a single video file in the countdown clock canvas (and output it to a multi-view) and then just use the current media time remaining in any other canvas/layer to just keep resetting the media time of the clock file.
Maybe this could even work with a countdown clock shader?
I know this issue has been played out in the forum, I just thought I'd ask about using some internal feedback to keep it all within Millumin...thanks!

Hello @nextgenmediaservers,
Creating an OSC feedback loop (I mean Millumin's OSC feedback back to Millumin) can be dangerous as it can also send orders back to Millumin : this can lead to movie going back and forward for example.
We are studying the idea of adding features to the scripts, so they could do what you want. If this idea is validated, this should come in next beta phase (in the next months).
Best. Philippe
That would be very useful, thank you Philippe!
