Connection with Enttec USB DMX

Hi, I'm currently having major problems with my Enttec. I started a show, no problem. Suddenly the Enttec was no longer recognised and I have no explanation for this. I have unplugged everything etc. I am sending two screenshots. I think the device is recognised, but not in Millumin. Can anyone help, I currently have shows where I need it. Thank you!

    A few questions to better understand your situation :

    • What is the model of your Enttec ? DMX USB Pro Mk2 ? Open DMX USB ?
    • Start Milumin and create an empty project : is your Enttec device working ?
    • Is there another application using the device at the same time ?
    • Does the device work on another computer ?

    • I am using: Enttec DMX USB Pro Interface (https://www.thomann.de/at/enttec_dmx_usb_pro_interface.htm)
    • When I start Millumin and create a project I can't see the Enttec. Until one week ago I saw it but now its not there anymore
    • I only use Logic Pro at the same time
    • When I try another DMX Interface (with the same cable etc.) it is working
    • I also tried it with "EMU" and it is not there either
    • I didnt have the chance yet to try it on another computer

    Maybe this DMY Device is not stable? Because yesterday I had another problem with the other ENTTEC during a show. Everything worked fine, than we took a break and after the break the Enttec device wasn't there in Millumin anymore. I pulled out the cable, reconnected it and then it worked again.

    Hello @TheaterderMitte,

    We are not aware of an issue with Enttec DMX USB Pro device. And if it does work with Enttec own software (EMU), it means it does not depend on Millumin.

    What is your computer ? MacBookPro Touchbar 2018 ? MacMini M1 Pro ?

    How do you connect your Enttec device to your computer ? Thunderbolt/USB cable ? USB hub ?

    It is also not working with EMU.

    I hava a MacBook Pro M1

    I connect it via USB (B to C).

    Maybe the Enttec is just not working...? I will send it back to the factory to they should check it.

    Before sending it back, you should try it on another computer.

    It turned out that the appliance was broken. I got a new one. Hope it will work :)
