Audio Routing

edited October 29 in MAIN

I have a question: If I run audio files through an interface, I have to route/assign the audio files correctly beforehand. No problem so far. If I now close Millumin and open it later without the interface, the audio files are played again via the laptop. Still clear and no problem. But: If I now open the program again and use the interface, I have to reassign all audio files. Is there a way that I can do this with one click or a few steps, otherwise I always have to re-route all audio files individually? Thank you!

  • Hello @TheaterderMitte,

First of all, the simpliest way to change the audio interface is to do so from macOS System Settings / Sound / Output.

Then if you really need audio-routing : in Millumin V4, audio-routing is set at media's level, so yes, you have to change every media. However, you can use a layout to manage several media's audio-routing at once. See this article.

Since Millumin V5, audio-routing is set at layer's level.

    Best. Philippe
