Record Audio output

Hello Everyone.

I want to record the presentation I set up in millumin.

I have 3 sources of sound, a microphone, some sound files and some vidéo files.

I have vidéos playing and a live camera also playing.

I set up syphon to record the vidéo but it won't record sound. However there is a Sound option in the syphon recorder preferences.

Can you tell me if I can record vidéo and audio output from Millumin via Syphon recorder ?

if not how should I do it ?

    Hello @Sylumin,

    You could use a virtual audio outputs to do so.

    One of the best tool to do so is Loopback (it can even capture the audio of an application). There are some alternative such as BlackHole or Soundflower.

    I was trying to simplify the set up.

    Any Idea why there is a Audio record preset in Syphon recorder ?

    In macOS System Settings, choose BlackHole as the audio output.

    Then select this very same BlackHole as an input in Syphon Recorder.


    If you really want to achieve this the right way, you should use a capture card such a Blackmagic one.
