not receiving sacn?

hi, does the trial version not allow sacn input?

i'm just trying to test connectivity here, data shows up perfectly fine in sacnview on the same computer, but does nothing in millumin...

    sACN is working in trial mode.

    Be sure no other application is using sACN on your computer, then retry.

    A few questions to better understand the situation :

    • if you open the device-panel (CMD+k) : is sACN in red or green ?
    • in the device-panel : is the right network interface selected ?
    • what is your version of Millumin ? 5.14.j ?
    • what is your version of macOS ? 26 ?
    • is Millumin authorized to access local networks (see this article) ?

    i've set this all up correctly, sacnview has the same permissions set and it picks up the sender instantly. no idea what's going on here.

    Is Artnet working correctly ? If the problem persists, could you send (via email) a TeamViewer session or equivalent ?

  • with artnet enabled, it sees the sender, logs repeat: "detected Artnet node at (IP)", but not data comes into the DMX monitor section.

    same as on sacn, artnetview sees data immediately.

    This is quite odd. It is like if Millumin was not authorized to listen to the network (at least to sACN/Artnet port).

    Could you send (via email) a TeamViewer session or equivalent ? I am sure it is not something big.
