Corrupted Show File

Hey Phillipe or anybody,

I'm in the middle of tech and have a pretty complicated show file I can't open, it pinwheels endlessly and hangs Millumin when I open the draft. Working in Millumin 5.


Any advice? I've been relying on the linked folders pretty heavily for the first time.

    Hello @RyanAK,

    If you used Dropbox (or equivalent service) to store your files, this might cause slowdowns as some files would need to be downloaded.

    I was working really fast and using the new hotlinked folders in v5 really aggressively, also had a lot of nested timelines with multiple output canvases. I’m not sure which feature hung the program.

    I managed to fix it by importing the millumin file into another project, deleting the timelines that were seeming to make the computer die and then running cleaning the project up via optimization. I kind of suspect the culprit was the timelines with multiple output canvases.

    I’ll see if I can get the venue to send me the corrupted file, I opened the show and flew out already.

    V5 is awesome!
