How to Reset a warping when a surface is selected ?

Hi, I don't understand why I can't reset a warping when I linked the mapping to a surface.

It's very useful when we have heavy warping ( 20 X 20) to click to this reset button only visible when we are on free mapping but not when we selected a specific surface.

Maybe I missed something...
