pink input from ultra studio mini recorder

anyone in here who is facing a similar problem using ultra studio mini recorder.

when i receive signal into millumin via hdmi port it gives me a pink colour instead of black.

any help ???

I'm using a kramer scaler which sends out a hdmi out.

or a dvd player with hdmi out

It seems to be a problem of colourspaces, this pink phenomenon is likely related to a RGB signal that is seen as a YPrPb signal. You'll find many people facing the same kind of trouble (http://www.avsforum.com/t/922232/hdmi-output-results-in-pink-layer , http://www.avsforum.com/t/1467191/pink-screen-on-lcd-tv-intermittent, http://www.avsforum.com/t/803736/pink-screen-only-with-hdmi-switching-receiver ).
Most BMD products only support YPrPb signals (roughly video and broadcast signals, as RGB is more for computer outputs).

Maybe you should check the output settings of your kramer scaler and DVD player to conduct some testings on colourspaces.
Also, did you double-check your HDMI cable?

i tried all setting, but i think the problem was due to non availability of upscaling present in the switcher or dvd player..
