We're just about to receive a Blackmagic Atem 1M/E 4K with the hope of long term being able to switch at 1080P50 - I notice when selecting input resolution in Millumin there is no 1080P50/60 can this be added very easily? Thanks.
Blackmagic Atem are switchers, not capture cards, so the video feed doesn't go to computer : you can only select which feed to send. So I'm not sure to understand your question.
Millumin supports natively Blackmagic capture cards, with Blackmagic own drivers : if there is a 1080p50 available for a card, it will be automatically displayed in Millumin. However, as far as I know, it's not possible to transfert a 1080p50 feed over Thunderbolt or USB 3 (but it should be possible over Thunderbolt 2).
We regularly use a 1M/E switcher to mix VJs into Millumin which then does mapping or presets.
On closer look the Mini Recorder only goes up 1080p25 or 1080i50 no 1080P50. Only closer inspection it would seem only a couple of Blackmagic cards support 1080P50 anyway. Thanks though.
