Blackmagic Mini Recorder won't show up

Hello !

I am facing an issue where my Ultrastudio Mini Recorder (TB2 miniDP version) won't show up in Millumin5.

Though i can see it in Desktop Video and Millumin4.

OS : Monterey

Desktop Video : 12.5.1 which seems the latest one for Monterey and compatible with this device (later drivers versions don't seem to support Ultrastudio Mini Monitor)

Is this expected ?

Does Millumin5 require more recent Blackmagic drivers ?

Any insight ?

    Hello @Martial,

    Millumin 5.12.xxx requires Blackmagic Desktop Video 12.4 minimum, but for Millumin 5.14.xxx requires now Blackmagic Desktop Video 14.3 minimum. Millumin shows a message every 2 weeks if your Blackmagic version is not sufficient.

    I am sorry, but to support new features and devices, we had to ask for a more recent version of Blackmagic Desktop Video. You can download Millumin 5.12.xxx on your account page.

    Hello,

    Ok it makes sense.

    Using 12.9 blackmagic drivers (max for Monterey) with Millumin 5.12u limit for this version of Blackmagic drivers and seems ok.

    Will have to stick with this version for the future and update my hardware when the time comes.
