OSC Version Mismatch and Playback Issues

I’m connecting two MacBooks via OSC to synchronize cue playback. So far, it has worked well over both Wi-Fi and a wired connection through a router.

However, after updating the sending MacBook to version 5, the receiving MacBook’s video playback has become extremely choppy. The sending MacBook’s video output remains smooth and problem-free. Previously, both machines were running version 4 without any issues, but this problem started when only one side was updated to version 5.

For reference, when the problematic MacBook runs its cues alone without the OSC connection, its video plays back perfectly smoothly.

Could this issue be due to the version difference?

    Hello @april,

    There is not much difference between Millumin v4 and V5 regarding OSC.

    Your issue looks like an OSC feedback loop. How do you synchronize cues exactly between the 2 machines ? What if you use a script based on "ColumnSync" template ?
