Capture card compatible M1

Hello, I bought a MBP M1 Max and I don't find the way to match it with my "old" BM Ultrastudio mini recorder.

I bought an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter, checked a lot of BM Desktop video versions but none worked.

Does someone have feedbacks ?

I'm really upset to reinvest on the ultrastudio recorder 3G.

Did someone test the Elgato camlink 4K, loosing SDI but adding 4K capture ?

Do you have another option for a laptop cheaper than an Akitio Node Due with a Pcie Capture card ?

    Sorry, I realize it's not a real Millumin question but I try to find a material which is recognized in Millumin on M1 with less latency and no drops...

    Hi, same situation here.

    According to their release notes, unfortunately it is not compatible, Intel Macs only.

    We have to invest in the UltraStudio Recorder 3G... 😫

    Indeed, the Ultrastudio Mini Recorder is not supported on the M1 machines. Its successor, the UltraStudio Recorder 3G, is supported. See Blackmagic website here for more info.

    I did not test it myself, but a user confirmed us that the Elgato Cam Link 4K is working on a MacBookPro M1 Max.
