Delay for sound

Hello ,

I have a problem with sound in millumin V3. When I play-out a movie it is quite late audio delay. How can I solve this problem?

    A few questions :
    - What audio hardware are you using ?
    - Do you have the issue if you listen directly through headphone connected to your computer ?
    - Are you using "audio routing" in Millumin (the matrix to mix channel per channel) ?
    - What is your version of Millumin ? 3.14.d ?
    - What is your version of macOS ? 10.14.6 ?

    - I use the headphone output or sound card Komplete Audio 6
    - it is delayed and when listening in headphones
    - I did not use audio routing
    - Now, I have version 3.15.e
    - I have 10.14.6

    Generally, I use the sound mixer delay. I haven't been able to solve the problem in V3 for some time.

    A few more question to investigate your issue :
    - Do you have a delay if you play the same movie with Quicktime X ?
    - What is your computer ? MacBookPro 15'' Touchbar ?
    - What devices are connected to your computer ? Try to unplug all of them, and tell us if the problem persists ?

    -I have no delay if you play the movie with Quicktime
    -Yes, my computer MacBookPro15" Touchbar 2017
    -No other devices are connected only the signal output and is continuing to delay.

    Yestarday I did the test with Millumin and headphones, without anything else connected to it and there is still delay.

    A friend has the same problem with a similar laptop.

    How much is the delay ? 1 second ? 100ms ?
    What is your version of Millumin ?

    Could you please send us a minimal project via contact / millumin email ?

    the delay is somewhere between 40-50 ms.
    Should I use some encoding for movies? I use mov. h264 or mp4. I tried Apple ProRes 422. the same thing happens. I will try to send a project or 2 movies that I have played.
    And it's weird to me. I use millumin from vers.1 and until I used vers.3 I didn't have that problem.

    Hello @Viorel,

    I would be surprised there is a difference between Millumin V1 and V3, because the audio is processed exactly the same (except if using audio-routing of course). And all are using the same method than Quicktime X.
    The codec won't change anything.
