I have some questions....

Is it possible to use several canvas inside one timeline?

In the output display ,Is it possible to disable preview of one surface without using black color?

In the output display with several canvas, is it possible to display the test card of only one canvas?

    Is it possible to use several canvas inside one timeline?

    Timelines are canvas related. This means they are linked to a specific canvas. That said, you can put the timeline in "custom" resolution so you can create a timeline that cover two or more canvas. In that case depending on your project, it worth creating a big canvas and use the advanced output option to create your surfaces.


    In the output display ,Is it possible to disable preview of one surface without using black color?
    Not sure to understand, you want a colored background when nothing is displayed ? If yes, could this be done with a color card ?


    In the output display with several canvas, is it possible to display the test card of only one canvas?
    That's not possible. But you can fake this by taking a screenshot of the test card and putting it back on a layer in your canvas. For screenshots go in Output -> take screenshot.

    Could you tell us in wich case you would do that ?

    je vais quand même la refaire "in french" ;)

    Pour la deuxième question, je voulais savoir si, dans la fenêtre pour éditer les surfaces, il était possible d'en cacher certaines à la vue ?
    Pour la 3eme question , je cherche dans ma fenetre Output, à afficher la test-card d'un seul canvas ( afin de gérer les corners de chaque canvas indépendamment) , sinon toutes les test-card se superposent.

    Hello @miclic,

    I answer in english so everyone can understand.

    Is it possible to hide some surfaces in the surface editor  ?
    No, but you can display the outline of the surfaces.
    You can also reorder the surfaces in the right panel of the editor.

    Display test card on one canvas ?
    Millumin doesn't do that, but using the grid shader will allow you to make something equivalent on one canvas at a time
    (see the attached project).
