Multiple PJLink shutter control

Hello,

I wanted to know if there was a way to individually control the shutters of several PJLink projectors in Millumin?

It works very well for a single video projector with a "String Track" and the command "%1AVMT [INT_VALUE][RETURN]" with the values 30 and 31 for open and closed.
But as in the "manage device" i can enter the IP address of only one video projector I do not understand how to manage a second String Track that would control the shutter of a second projector.

I know it is also possible to use "Projector midi remote" with MIDI Track to achieve this result but I wondered if Millumin could do without it.

Hello @Ogi,

Sorry, but you can add only one server to send "strings". Feel free to submit an idea to submit an idea on Uservoice, so we  could keep track of this request.
For now, using the ProjectorMidiRemote application would be the solution to control more than one projector.

I was reading through the uservoice thread and theres not much info of anyone managing to do shutter control.

In qlab we use a network cue to send - 

set myFile to (POSIX path of (path to temporary items)) & "curl_downloaded_file.xml"

do shell script "curl -L " & "http://admin1:panasonic@192.168.10.203/cgi-bin/sd95.cgi?cm=0200a1910103" & " -o " & myFile

to shutter a Panasonic projector. It would be good to send such commands as I don't think I've ever worked a theatre show without need a shutter command. That said, show control is always Qlab talking to to Millumin over network as we seperate Video from Audio control - but it would be good to have the option.

Usually, projector can be managed by sending an UDP string : especially with Panasonic one, with the PJLink protocol.

So using a data-track is sufficient. Even more in Millumin V2+, we added auto-completion for most used UDP string (open/close shutter for Panasoci PJLink or Christie protocol).

This said, we also planned to be able to run a script with a data-track (such as a command line like http://admin1:panasonic@192.168.10.203/cgi-bin/sd95.cgi?cm=0200a1910103 -o downloaded_file.xml").

However, we've no ETA for now. But it's planned for sure.
