This is amazing. Will it be seen in any other software via syphon or is it a closed signal?August 2013
Very cool! Looks brilliant :)July 2013
I currently use Isadora by Troikatronix. I've used it for a long time and have become a pro user, beta tester and forum moderator.
Because of this I am obviously very loyal to the Isadora software but I am a fan of millumin. I check this forum weekly and watch all the tutorials. I still have the demo on my machine and try a few things here and there.
It's nice to see that this software has grown and got a community now.
I find the interface a little confusing but thats because i'm very set in my ways with Isadora. There are lots of nice features in millumin though and perhaps one day I may use it for a an event :)
All the best.
Surly this is not allowed?October 2012
Thanks for your replies!July 2012
You could map a MIDI control to the layer opacity.
Just drag the .qtz file on to the layer. It works as expected.
You can easily create a syphon layer but make sure syphon server is running in your VJ software.
Why not use just a .jpeg on a layer for your testcard?
Yes but I still like the idea of a x fader. Would linkup well with Ableton well then and many midi controllers.
Thanks for checking out the quartz thing. This is good to hear. I need to explore this; do published parameters show up? And are these midi/osc mappable?
I've had syphon working but not multiple instances.
You can use a JPEG just handy to have a one click button. Then there is no editing of your pages and layers, etc.
Sounds great. A very useful tool!July 2012
I was aware of this software a few months ago and knew it was going places but it slipped my mind and forgot to check back. A collegue at work mentioned the software today and WOW it's ace.
Video mapping looks great.
Very interested to get this working with Isadora via syphon, etc.
