Transition Animate without crossfade

Hello,

now we can select a transition with crossfade or crossfade and animate and there is something I don't understand :

If on a layer I have properties scale & position and a transition of 9 sec between 2 columns with 2 different states with crossfade and animate, I see my media changing scale & position with animation but no crossfade & it's what I want usually.

If on a layer I have property mapping and a transition of 9 sec between 2 columns with 2 different states with crossfade and animate, I see my media animating from one mapping to the other but with also a crossfade and I don't want the crossfade I would like only the animation.

Am I clear ?

Do I miss a tip ?

My next step would be to have properties to animate masks directly on a layer and not using an over layer with scale & position stuff...

    Sorry, I do not see what you mean. In the project above, there is always a crossfade and animation whatever your choosed to animate (mapping or position) :


    Please share a project or a video to show what you want to achieve.

    I upgraded to 5.14.e, is it because of that but the project doesn't behave the same today...

    Now it's "normal" .

    I had the same media in 2 columns and I was seing in the mapping situation a fade out of the first column state while the animation was playing.

    I can't show you because it doens't play like that anymore and I didn't keep the older version to test.

    OK thank you for the info. So from what I understand, everything is fine with latest release.
