Companion / Feedback
Can anyone pls tell me a way to get the color of a button changed by the actual column status? Classic example would be to have button 1 light up green, when column 1 is running.
I managed to the the column information into companion. And I also managed to get remaining time und this new color bar up running. Really cool. But I can't find a way to colorize the button in accordance with the actual column. Can anyone help, pls?
Thank you very much

Hello @sebe,
You can add a "feedback" on your button (based on current-column in Millumin) :
Best. Philippe
Thanks Philippe,
Thanks for your answer. I already tried that with no luck... If that's your suggestion, I keep trying it! Thank you
Hi everyone.
I'm facing some issues as well. I'm trying to have a button background color change accordingly to the Column triggered and the feedback isn't working as expected:
Companion and Millumin are connected and Streamdeck correctly triggers Millumin Columns.
The feedback set as the example above doesn't work (either with Columns Index or Name) but if I change operation symbol "=" to "!=" (which I assume means different from) the background actually changes. This make me think is a problem of Column indexing.
If indeed I go back to Operation symbol "=" and I change the Value to "0" The background changes independently from the actual column running.
Any hints?
Hello @albertospad,
It seems that Companion is not receiving any feedback from Millumin. Create a button as below to check that Companion "knows" about the current column index :
Best. Philippe
Yeah.
I confirm it isn't.
The button as suggested display "0" even if I'm on a different column (same in variables / Millumin the value displayed is always 0).
Could it be because on this Mac I have no license installed?
tomorrow I will try on the Mac that has it.
If you have any other suggestion they are welcome!
as always, thanks for your super support
Solution was pretty straight forward.
Wasn't an issue about License but an obvious option to be flagged in devices/osc/sender "send feedback"
Now works great
as always, thanks for this super piece of software
