Led panel and output resolution

salut, 

j'ai une config très simple : 

Macbook M1 qui envoie des datas pour une barre led (résolution 1600x80 px) controllée par une éléctronique de chez novastar. 

Quand je règle mon output dans millumin dans la resolution de la barre LED il m'est impossible de voir ma vidéo. Par contre, si je reste en 1920x1080, la vidéo apparait sur ma barre LED (en haut, les 80 premiers pixels). 

Quelqu’un comprend pourquoi ?

    Hi,

    I have a very simple setup:

    A Macbook M1 that sends data to an LED bar (1600x80 px resolution) controlled by Novastar electronics.


    When I set my output in Millumin to the resolution of the LED bar, I can't see my video. However, if I stay at 1920x1080, the video appears on my LED bar (at the top, the first 80 pixels).


    Does anyone understand why?

    Hello @Nico_D,

    What is the input resolution of your Novastar device ? 1600x80 or 1920x1080 ? I think it is 1920x1080 (despite the Novastar not using all pixels obviously). Thus the result.

    To separate your content (1600x80) and how it is ouputted (1920x1080), use a video-routing. See this article.
