  • @jamesont that is a very strange issue. I use a GTX980 and have never had any problems. Try avoiding the DVI ports if you can - I get the best results using an HDMI for my monitor and the 3 DP for the projectors/LED controllers. Tonymac is a great r…
  • You would need an EDID manager for each projector. As long as they stay on, the configuration will not change. I have had the same issue in a fixed installation with 11 projectors and this was the best solution. I have used these: http://www.lightwa…
  • From EU countries and region - we do not have the budget to fly in operators from other countries this time - sorry.
  • @Marc what codec, frame size are your media and what do you use to create them? I have had great results with both PrroRes 4444 and Hap codecs, both of which support alpha channel for layering. I have had worst results with H264 and similar older co…
  • A way to work around resetting the screens on reboot is by using the EDID managers on every output. It does create extra mess of cables, but is also useful if working with multiple projectors/displays in case one of them goes down/turns off. The com…
  • Hello, are there any updates on this?I need to do a project with a curved screen that has many layers and scenes, does it mean I need to warp all content separately?Maybe it would be easier to take the 4 outputs from millumin and capture them in anot…
  • Hello @aigore,it also supports several cards - I have the Decklink Duo and the Decklink HD Extreme 3D and all is great. The only problem is that the Input 1 and 2 will switch at restart (not always) but it is a Blackmagic problem, not Millumin.
  • Thank you for this explanation,s there a way to go back to 10.10.2, and that version of Millumin with Hap64 from January? It is lot easier for me to install the OSX and drivers than to re-render everything - also PhotoJpeg is too much for my project…
  • Also, Hap-Alpha to ProRes444 conversion removed the alpha on all my clips and now they are all black. There is no way I will be able to run 8 layers of PhotoJPEG in high resolutions, with some alpha channels and at 60 fps. Please bring back support f…
  • It is happening on both my machines now too.Everything was in HapQ or Hap Alpha, now I am converting to ProRes as HAP is suddenly "experimental".Will have to re-render ALL my clips before I can see if that helps. A simple show that would previously …
  • Hi,I think it is the same device. The connector on the adapter is mini DP, but in Japan they ship 2 versions; one with a DP to mini PP cable and the other with a mini DP to mini DP cable - the device is the same.
  • Does anyone have any idea if this means that with the  Titan X´s 3 DP outs you could get 6x1920x1080 and still have a DVI or an HDMI for your monitor? There is a Mac chipped TitanX card at macvidcards that boots and works flawless on MacPro towers, i…
  • Hello CitizenCaine,http://www.lightware.eu/index.php/edid-manager-v4A few of these fix all problems if you have to use fibre optic cables. If your resolutions are up to 1920x1080 (not 1920x1200 mind), and 100 meters is long enough,I MUCH, MUCH prefer…
  • Hello @ZachTaylorYour problem is the colorspace conversion from your Macbook's RGB to the Decklink's YUV.If you use the Blackmagic Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 4K, you will get a proper image, as this does the colorspace conversion.
  • Hi @bryanmurillo is the resolution/framerate same as the output from the macbook? Is the image green/weird colors? If so, you may need an HDMI to SDI BATTERY converter (NOT MINI CONVERTER), as this one does colorspace conversion from RGB to YUV.DVI ex…
  • Also, get the Decklink Studio 4K, it can capture RGB colorspace and 1080p 50 and 60.I have also drifted away from Extron for this purpose, the most cost effective switcher for live events in my opinion is the Kramer VP-437N. You get 2 HDMI and 1 VGA…
  • Main problem I see people running into here is trying to capture RGB colorspace output from their switchers to Blackmagic cards which are YUV only.Decklink Studio 4K (and up the range) solves this problem, it's HDMI can capture RGB, and also solves …
  • Hi, just a quick update, as I have talked to Extron. The MPS-601 will not work that well as it has no built in scaler. Therefore, you will always get the output identical to the used input. With Blackmagic cards you always need to have the pre-selected…
  • Hi @renaud The MPS-601: http://www.extron.com/product/product.aspx?id=mps601&subtype=149&s=4is as cheap as it gets, and you get 2 VGA(RGBHV) and 4 HDMI inputs for laptops etc. You can use a cheap HDMI capture card like Intensity pro to captu…
  • Thank you for this info.
  • Hi @Arveen, We are using an external switcher into an HDSDI input of the Deck link duo. At the moment it is the best way, think ofnit as a front end for Millumin, plus you can have diferent machines hooked up as clients always want to change sometyh…
  • Hello @vbaudron,thanks a lot, we got it going. The problem was in Blackmagic being unable to accept any signal that was not YUV. Problem solved, and we have a nice new front end for our system!
