Hi Philippe, Thanks for your explanation about the technique. Is it what you call "smart preload" or something like that ?
But...I'm sorry but, with starting point at 0, there is still a little stuttering. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes not.Even i reboot my machin to clear Ram and Vram.I've also tried with a still image as says Sander. It is not really better.
Any other solution ?Thanks a lot,Benjamin

And also, with the column solution what about different board ?If i have defined that column 13 closed my shutter in board one, what happened if i go to the board two on column 13 ?
    Thanks again!

Hello Philippe, and thanks for your answer.
I've seen "when a column XXX is launched", but my aim is to update it dynamically : i'm during the rehearsal, so the number of column is not fixed, because the number of cues is not fixed. And i dont want to have to go in milluplug to change the number of the column witch will be close my shutter ...Thats why i was looking for a system in the dashboard where i can move the "media shutter" in another column when i decided to add or remove a column, to change cues order, or whatever it can append during rehearsal...Is there another solution ?
Otherwise, i will use a special composition for shutter.
One more question :Is it possible to reorder board ? They are classified by order of creation, not numerically or alphabetical. I would like to use "Go on to next board" fonction, but my board are actually not in the good order...
    Thanks again!Benjamin

    Hello Philippe,
I cant answer is the topic ("Commenting not allowed").
Thanks for your answer.Actually, what is the best mac in a lower budget to run millumin ?My configuration will be a 3x1024x768, run multiple movies (but small like 340x280, with effect and crossfading).
    Thanks a lot,Benjamin

    Hello @Philippe,
Thanks for your answers,Here are my replies :set a fade time for each transition
Not sure to follow you. Did you mean to have transition per column?
In coming version, you'll be able to set up automatic transition per media, not only per layer >>> That's it !set a delay time for each transition / Something like to draw courbes in the dash board
Transition could have more options. I'll study this question.
But for the moment, it's not where I'm focused on.>>> In my opinon, there are four Time : Fade In, Fade Out, Delay In and Delay Out. Maybe we could have in the UI only a "global transition time", and right next, the famous "wheel" for option with this four time.
And i have another question/suggestion :In Live, you can set in a column if the sound will still playing or stoping when i will press go (enter in the master column). Is it possible to perform this in the new dashboard ? In mean, maybe a movie will change when i'll go to next cue, but others will still playing.
    Best,
    Benjamin

Yeah, great work ! Congratulations !
To go further, do you have planned to do something like the following :
    > set a fade time for each transition> set a delay time for each transition Maybe it could looks like a transition in premiere or final cut ?Something like to draw courbes in the dash board. In this way we could achieve a global transfert (column change), with specific transition time for each media.
    > have a fader to perform the transfert, like in a lighting desk, to perform a A/B transfert. No only a "GO" button (actually the forward button)
    > possibility to name columns (corresponding to cue name)

    ------
in the approach of doing a cue sequencer, do you have in project the possibilty of storing different position, keystone, mask for the same layer. Something like the "palette" concept in a lighting desk. And to perform transition between them?

    Best regards,B.

    Hi,
    Little question/fonctionnality request :
I've tring to add many media in the dashboard (is there a limite by layer and page ?)When i'm adding media on the dashboard, it's automaticaly placed at the end of the dashboard. Even if i go in edit mode, i cant move the postion of the media in the layer. If i want to do this, i have to delete some, to place the good one at the good position, then re insert the following media. Not so useful ?!
    (thanks again, of course!)

Hello,For me, the main difference was : a media encode with premiere in h264 makes max/msp crashes. The same media, encode with quicktime works perfectly.
My opinion is that codec means encode/decode. You need to have the same key to open and close the door.Something like if the specification of h264 was the same for every software, but the way to achieve it was different.
But, it only a feeling, maybe not very cartesian...

    HellO Philippe
Is Millumin uses quicktime player to play, record, etc.. vidéo ?I ask you because Max/msp/jitter uses it.And after a few test i have noticed that media wich has been convert with quicktime player where read faster & better (less stutering) than is they has been convert with finalcut, premiere or after effect. (with the same codec of course, like photojpeg or h264).
    Best regards,Benjamin

    Hi,
    I've a question/suggestion about mapping.
